Only harmonica player of the blues scene in Spain.

Marta Suñé leads the quartet Sweet Marta & The Blues Shakers, a formation born in 2013 in which the only harmonica player of the blues scene in the State is accompanied by musicians of recognized prestige: guitarist Johnny Bigstone, bassist Little Jordi and drummer Homero Tolosa. Marta combines her brilliant talent on the harmonica with a great sensitivity and magnetism as a singer.

In their overwhelming live show there is no shortage of versions of great representatives of Chicago and Texas blues such as Koko Taylor, Sonny Boy Willamson II, George Harmonica Smith or Junior Wells. The band’s stylistic proposal is an energetic cocktail of jump blues, New Orleans, Chicago, Texas, country blues, boogie woogie and rock’n roll. Their third and latest work is “Hard Times” (2023), in which they mix their own songs with a careful selection of covers.
