Constellation of Chicago Blues Stars.

The highly anticipated first annual Chicago Blues Festival tour becomes a reality during the summer of 2025. Based on the same principle as its 1969 predecessor, the Chicago Blues Summer Tour will feature an all-star line-up of musicians from the electric blues capital.

The ‘superband’ formed for the occasion is led by Mike Wheeler (guitar/vocals), one of the pillars of contemporary blues in the American city. With a long career as a backing musician in various bands, he has performed alongside legends such as Son Seals, Koko Taylor, Willie Kent and Buddy Guy.

The rhythm section is made up of the all-star duo Larry Williams (bass) and Cleo Cole (drums), with Jesse Lockridge on keyboards and two old friends, Russ Green on harmonica and Faye ‘Peaches’ Staten on vocals. ‘Peaches’ draws inspiration from legendary female singers like Koko Taylor and Etta James. Regulars on the Chicago club circuit, this ensemble of artists share the stage on a regular basis. Their complicity and talent, combined with the dynamism they demonstrate on stage, guarantee a great show.
