The talent of renowned blues guitarists Anson Funderburg, Mike Morgan and Shawn Pittman will come together in spectacular fashion in the “Crossroads” dedicated to Texas scheduled for this third edition of the festival.
Anson Funderburgh
On stage since the age of 15, the Texan Funderburg (Plano, Texas, 1954), leader of Anson Funderburg & The Rockets, has an unmistakable style, tone and sensitivity that draws on the influence of the legendary Freddie King and B.B King and representatives of Chicago’s West Side sound such as Buddy Guy, Otis Rush and Magic Sam.

Shawn Pittman
Shawn Pittman (Talihina, Oklahoma, 1974) completes this trio of Texas blues guitar heroes. With a prolific career under his belt (he recorded his first album in 1996 at the age of 22), he has worked with artists such as Matt “Guitar” Murphy, Hubert Sumlin and Lou Ann Barton and has opened for the legendary B.B. King.
