For reasons beyond the organisation’s control, the concert by Ivan Singh, scheduled for Sunday 28 July at 19:00, has been cancelled. In his place, La Perra Blanco, the quartet led by the Cadiz-born Alba Blanco, will take the stage at the Bilbao Blues Festival. Accompanied by the wildest double bass player, Guillermo Gonzalez del Campo, the great Gerart Vercher (sax and keyboards) and a huge drummer, Jesús López Benítez, the energetic singer gives live performances that leave no one indifferent.
Born in 2016, this explosive band, one of the most demanded in its genre at state and international level, accumulates four works “Bop & Shake” (Atomic Records, 2019), “La Perra Blanco” (2021, self-released), “Won’t You Come On” (Folc Records, 2022) and “Get it out” (Folc Records 2024).
La Perra Blanco, who started out on the underground circuit, has been able to restore the enthusiasm of fans of 50s American music and attract new audiences to the genre.
