The guitarist and composer from Barakaldo, Ibai García captains the quintet Ibai García Blues Project, a recently created proposal that recently released its first LP: “Chasing the blues”, in which blues rock and soulful nuances blend perfectly to give rise to a fresh and excellent quality work.
After the release of two LPs and ten years of touring with the blues/southern band Lomoken Hoboken, Ibai García gave shape to this new adventure with four luxury squires; Charlie Santiago (vocals), Aritza Castro (drums), Fernando Solla “Fo” (bass) and Israel Santamaría (keyboards), all of them all-terrain musicians with an outstanding and recognised curriculum in the blues and jazz scenes of Bizkaia. Ibai García Blues Project promises a powerful and energetic show to demonstrate why it is one of the most powerful Basque blues bands today.
