Del Toro Blues band, Sirjo Cocchi & Balta Bordoy- The Blues Way, Tòfol Martínez Blues band and The Lazy Tones are the four finalist bands of the Volotea Blues Challenge, a competition that is part of the third edition of the Bilbao Blues Festival. Each of them will give a 30-minute performance on 25 July from 19:30 at the Arenal bandstand. An expert jury will decide which will be the state representative at the European Blues Challenge 2025 to be held in Split (Croatia).
Bilbao Blues Festival, promoted by the Bilbao City Council, will be held from 25 to 28 July with a free programme of top level concerts, which will take place in the Arenal: The Fabulous Thunderbirds, D.K. Harrell, Ana Popovic, Martha High & The Soul Cookers, Anson Funderburgh, Mike Morgan, Shawn Pittman, Southern Avenue, Annika Chambers, Terrie Odabi, Chino Swingslide Trío, Ivan Singh, Kid Carlos Band and Ibai García Blues Project complete this year’s line-up.
