Rick Estrin is, for many, the best white harmonica player of today alongside Charlie Musselwhite. His blues star aura comes to Bilbao with “The Nightcats”, a talented trio formed by Lorenzo Farrell (keyboards), Kid Andersen (guitar) and Derrick “D’Mar” Martin (drums) who have been accompanying the San Francisco bluesman since 2008.

Their achievements include winning Band of the Year at the Blues Music Awards in 2018 and 2021. Rick Estrin & The Nightcats, offers an unpredictable and limitless live performance. On their latest studio release, “Contemporary”, they explore a variety of sounds, rhythms and instrumentation while maintaining their signature “Nightcats” style, based on blues, roots music and roadhouse rock.
