Soul-funk from Bilbao with their own style.
Considered one of the leading bands in Spanish black music, Mississippi Queen & The Wet Dogs boast a wide range of styles that combine soul, funk, blues, gospel and country. Their live show is characterised by an emotion and intensity that invites you to dance and sing along from the very first moment.
Inés Goñi, exceptional vocalist -backing singer of Travellin’ Brothers- and founder of the group in 2015, is accompanied by Aitor Zorriketa “The Malamute” (guitar), Ander Alonso (drums), Mikel Núñez (keyboards) and Jon Carranza (bass), all of them musicians of great experience and quality on stage.
Their first album, ‘Try Me’, dates from 2019. At the end of last year they released their second album, ‘Phoenix’, made up of eight original songs with which they explore and develop their musical identity. Throughout their career, the Bilbao band has shared the stage with The Beach Boys, Ben Harper, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, Watermelon Slim, Earl Thomas and Travellin’ Brothers.
