Ana Popovic (Belgrade, Serbia, 1976) is a virtuose guitarist and singer with an outstanding 25-year career. With her inseparable Fender Stratocaster on her shoulder, she displays exquisite technique as well as an elegant and energetic stage presence.

Popovic is a blueswoman who moves like a fish in water in the fields of power blues, soul and rock. Considered part of the female “triumvirate” of the genre alongside Bonnie Raitt and Susan Tedeschi, her business card includes performances with B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck and Joe Bonamassa, and a host of Blues Music Award nominations. This year, without going any further, she has been nominated for Best Blues Rock Artist and Best Blues Rock Album with “Power”, her ninth solo album, full of blues-rock, soft-jazz and even pop nuances. An album, according to her, “very special about unity and friendship, what the world needs”, and in which she demonstrates her resilient character and positive attitude in her recent fight against cancer.
