Ray Collins’ Hot-Club is a perfect machine capable of making the audience go wild at every concert with an overflowing and energetic party of swing, jazz, soul, rock’n roll, jive, boogie and jump blues rhythms. The shows of this German ‘big band’ recover the spirit of the best music of the 40s and 50s in an unrepeatable and anarchic experience without a script or set list, because, according to their charismatic leader, Ray Collins, ‘the least expected is the most effective’.

They feature a powerful wind section, keyboards, slapbass, drums and electric guitar. Although the band was born in 2000, most of its members, a total of nine, have been performing together since the late 80s. They have toured all over the world and have played alongside great legends, such as the historic saxophonist Big Jay McNeely.
