Tòfol Martínez Blues Band will be the Spanish representative at the European Blues Challenge to be held next year in Split (Croatia). The Catalan band has beaten the other three finalists (Del Toro Blues band, Sirjo Cocchi & Balta Bordoy-The Blues Way and The Lazy Tones) in the Volotea Blues Challenge, a competition that is part of the third edition of Bilbao Blues Festival and that was held yesterday for the first time in the Villa.
Martínez and his band convinced the audience and the jury, formed by Mingo Balaguer, Roser Infiesta, Maquel Amat, Rui Guerreiro and Óscar Cubillo. after some time away from the stage, the singer and guitarist with his refined technique and magnetic broken voice came back with more energy than ever.
