Rockin’ Soul Sistas featuring Terrie Odabi & Annika Chambers with Paul DesLauriers offer a truly luxurious offering of a spectacular musical celebration of soul blues. Chambers (Houston, 1985) grew up singing in a church, hence her strong gospel influences. She spent seven years enlisted in the US armed forces, where her talent did not go unnoticed and she was invited to sing the national anthem during a ceremony. That episode led to her joining a band that performed on tour for military troops stationed in Kosovo and Iraq. In 2019 and 2022 she won the Blues Music Award in the category of Best Female Soul Blues Artist. The energetic and talented Annika Chambers has three studio releases to her name and is a regular at American and European blues festivals.

Terrie Odabi is one of the most respected singers on the blues scene today. A highly skilled improviser, the Oakland-based performer and songwriter displays a wide variety of expressive tools and resources. Odabi was nominated in 2017, 2020, 2021, 2022 at the Blues Music Awards in the category of “Best female soul blues artist”. Odabi repeats her presence in Bilbao after her performance in last year’s edition together with the Anhony Paule Soul Orchestra and Theo Huff.

The prestigious Canadian blues rock guitarist Deslausiers, husband of Chambers, will accompany the duo Chambers & Odabi.
