Showman of blues and resophonic swing<\/h3>\n

Chino is the alter ego of Hern\u00e1n Senra<\/strong> (Buenos Aires, 1980), a multi-faceted artist based in Barcelona since 2001<\/strong> who acts as a solo musician, composer, arranger and showman<\/strong>. An outstanding guitarist, especially with the resophonic variety and applying the \u2018slide\u2019 style, he has an innate ability to make the audience vibrate in his shows and never go unnoticed. Chino fuses blues and swing<\/strong> with such disparate styles as gipsy, jazz, tango, bolero, flamenco and South American folklore<\/strong>, and has performed in European and American venues and festivals with great success. Together with his trio he won the second prize in the European Blues Challenge 2013<\/strong> representing Spain. In recent years he has led bands such as Down Home, Shine, The Acoustic Blues Company, Chino & The Big Bet and Chino & The Sharps.<\/strong> He has been co-founder, teacher and head of studies at the Barcelona Blues School and since 2005 he has performed every Tuesday at the Blues Jam Session at the Harlem Jazz Club in Barcelona. Chino Swingslide Trio will guarantee a very special show at the Bilbao Blues Festival.<\/p>\n
