The illustration is the work of the Basque studio Moriskette, directed by Sergio P\u00e9rez Berasategi, who has signed the image of the event since its first edition.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018We wanted to capture the travelling spirit of the blues and its connection to Bilbao. We were inspired by the figure of a wandering bluesman, a wanderer with guitar in hand as his only luggage, carrying stories and melodies with him. His steady step next to La Salve Bridge symbolises the entrance to the heart of the city, a place of welcome and encounter that reflects the open essence of the festival and of Bilbao itself,\u2019 explains Berasategi. Inspired by the classic concept of the genre, \u2018Walking Blues\u2019, \u2018we wanted the poster to reflect not only the tradition of the genre, but also the unique character of the city\u2019, he adds.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-dominant-color=\"9d9a85\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" style=\"--dominant-color: #9d9a85;\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaobluesfestival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/ok-1-jpg.avif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32266 not-transparent\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This design, faithful to the graphic line of other editions, \u2018seeks to resonate both with blues lovers and with those who see Bilbao as a city that, like the festival, never stops moving forward and telling new stories.
